Maruf Haider is the Managing Director of Vigilant Shipping Limited, a leading maritime manpower and crew management company dedicated to supplying competent and qualified seafarers to the global shipping industry. A Merchant Navy Officer by profession, he pursued his maritime education at South Tyneside College, United Kingdom, one of the world’s most renowned institutions for maritime training and education.
Drawing upon his extensive seagoing experience and professional expertise, Mr. Haider has developed a deep understanding of international maritime regulations, crew management practices, and the implementation of global standards aimed at ensuring the safety, security, and welfare of seafarers. His practical industry knowledge, combined with a strong commitment to excellence, has enabled him to successfully support ship owners and operators in meeting their crewing requirements with highly skilled maritime professionals.
Under his leadership, Vigilant Shipping Limited remains committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and world-class manning solutions, building long-term relationships with ship owners through professionalism, integrity, and service excellence.
In addition to his role at Vigilant Shipping Limited, Mr. Haider also serves as the Managing Director of Black Harbor Limited, a company specializing in yacht construction, yacht chartering, technical management, and a wide range of industrial supply services.
